Telecare operates crisis centers in Southern California that are available to help people in times of emergency. The centers are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offer a variety of services to people in need. The centers provide a safe place for people to go when they are experiencing a mental health emergency, and they also offer support and resources to help people get back on their feet. Telecare’s crisis centers are an important resource for the community, and they play a vital role in helping people who are struggling with mental health issues.
Types of Telecare Crisis Centers
Walk-In / Urgent Care
These programs offer services to those who self-refer. Services include assessment, medication support and brief treatment that can last 6 – 8 hours on average.
Crisis Stabilization / 23-Hour
These programs offer a safe, protective environment for those who need help. They provide screening/triage and medication support in order to ensure that clients get the treatment they deserve; additionally patient can stay at the center for brief period (typically up to 24 hours) for treatment. In some cases these centers may be co located with acute hospital stays allowing warm hand off transfers when needed
Crisis Residential
These residential facilities offer short-term support for those who need it. They can also be a stepping stone to returning home, as they provide medication services and links in the community that will help you get back on your feet again! The typical stay is 30 days or less.
